One of the oldest castles in Czech Republic

Vildštejn Castle in Skalná near Cheb is one of the oldest castles in Bohemia. The Romanesque castle was reconstructed in 1999 - 2001 and then opened to the public.

The only one in the world to get firefighters from the Rock Battalion of the fallen, the US flag, owned by one of the firefighters perished in the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. The flag is stored in a museum.
